We’ve come a long way since we opened our doors in 2009.
Faced with returning to the farm due to family circumstances, it was imperative that we found a different way to make a living from agriculture.This is when we decided to demolish an old, decrepit cow shed and replace it with a traditionally built shop.
We’ve had a steep learning curve both of the retail industry and customer service. We had never dealt directly with the public before and in the beginning had to rely on our own instincts as to what we thought our customers would like; primarily our home grown meat which thankfully went down a storm. This evolved in us taking advice and recommendations from our customers resulting in everything in our shop being tried and tasted by ourselves or our customers to produce a varied and exciting product base which tasted second to none.
